OCCUR

A web application that stores and categorizes resources and opportunities that OCCUR wishes to share with the Oakland community.

OCCUR was seeking a platform to inform the community of particular resources and is easily accessible to the community. The web application we created stores and categorizes the resources and opportunities that OCCUR wishes to share with the Oakland community. The users are able to search for the opportunities they are looking for based on location, resource type and resource name. In addition, the application includes an admin page so that Davina and her team can update the app with the new/relevant information and remove outdated opportunities.

OCCUR is committed to creating capacity building opportunities to support the well-being, economic development and civic inclusion of marginalized communities. The OCCUR team provides community resources of their own and disseminate information about other community resources provided by other organizations.
