Harvard Square Homeless Shelter

The Client

Harvard Square Homeless Shelter (HSHS) is a student-run homeless shelter currently opperating out of the University Lutheran Church in Harvard Square. It serves 29 men and women a night throughout the 5 coldest months of winder. HSHS strives to provide guests with resources and services that will help them successfully transition them into housing.

The Project

HSHS has a street team that goes out to the streets of Cambridge to provide assistance to those who cannot make it to the shelter. This app gives that street team the ability to log what resources they are bringing and where those resources are allocated during their shift. In addition to that, it provides the street team with quick access to guest profiles, past interactions, and interaction logging while out in the field.
